Turn a few pairs of socks into soft basketballs and see how many you can score. Set up different targets around the room and challenge each other to beat your best score.

Children playing Sock Basketball

Top Tip

Make it a little harder by using different sized socks - bigger ones are easier, smaller ones are a bigger challenge!

Make it More Challenging

Move the basket further away or make the target smaller. Create different scoring zones with more points for harder shots. Give each player five shots and see who can score the most.

How to Play

Roll the socks into balls and place the basket or box a short distance away.

Take turns throwing the sock balls into the basket. Start close and move further away as you get better.

Give each player five throws and keep score, or simply see how many you can get in a row.

Try different throwing styles such as overarm, underarm, with your weaker hand or sitting down.
